Apple Cider Vinegar
RECOMMENDATION
Always buy raw organic apple cider vinegar which is found in most supermarkets and health food stores. Do not drink it neat, rather mix it into a smoothie or green juice and preferably, drink that through a straw so that the vinegar does not remove the enamel on your teeth.
Why Apple Cider Vinegar is good for us
CONSUME DAILY
Apple cider vinegar contains beneficial bacteria and prebiotics that can have a positive impact on our immune system and in turn, help fight cancer and other illnesses.
Apple cider vinegar has a long history as home remedy, used to treat things such as sore throats and cleaning open wounds, however more recently studies have found Apple cider vinegar to contain various healthful properties, including antimicrobial and antioxidant effects. Evidence suggests it may offer real health benefits, such as aiding weight loss, reducing cholesterol, lowering blood sugar levels, and improving the symptoms of diabetes.
The other significant benefit of consuming Apple Cider Vinegar is its alkalising effect on the body which can reduce acidity and help create an inhospitable environment for cancer to live. One might think that foods such as lemons, limes and raw organic apple cider vinegar are acidic, but once ingested, they actually become alkaline. Some acid forming foods to moderate are things such as sugar, coffee, juice and processed foods.
